French Alps Kayaking 2014

In June 2014, a group of around 50 of us from Aberystwyth University Canoe Club headed down to the French Alps for their finest white water available.

The Alps trip, in which we also tried via ferrata, slacklining across a river (waterlining) and went climbing in Fontainebleau was regularly challenging, often terrifying, always adrenaline-fuelled, and altogether a whole lotta fun! As it, was a trip with AUCC, there was also occasionally a little bit of drinking involved!
