#100happydays

“Can you be happy for 100 days” is the tagline to a new website I stumbled across which challenges people to take a photo of something which made them happy. every day. for 100 days. Sounds easy right? Well, apparently 71% of those who have started have failed, with lack of time often being the reason. What does this suggest? That we don’t have time to be happy? How dreadful. Happiness should be one of the most important things, and something we experience daily. I cannot understand why we choose other priorities, neglecting happiness.

Smiles all round! What makes you happy?

As a commitment to my aim in life to chase happiness in everything I do, I will be taking this challenge. A number of other advantages are cited including realising what makes you happy, becoming more optimistic, and gaining a new appreciation for our life (and our time). I’ll be posting my ‘happy photo’ daily on twitter. Feel free to follow @JosiahSkeats.

Also, I’d love it if you’d take the challenge yourself. Feel free to let me know, and I’ll be sure to check it out. If not, try it for yourself – there’s no need to tell anyone! Maybe they’ll notice a newer happier you!
